Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted
by our representatives holding a placard displaying the company’s logo. In case of
late night arrival, private transportation to the hotel will be arranged by the
representative. Clients will be notified of tour briefings and group meeting times
by a representative.
During the meeting, we review the travel plans and services, and introduce the trek
or tour guide according to the itinerary. It’s mandatory to complete a legally binding
travel form and a non-liability disclaimer form. Any outstanding tour payments
must be settled at this time. Accommodation for the night will be provided at
Kathmandu Guest House or a similar standard hotel in Thamel.
The journey from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, is an
adventure in itself, typically encompassing a drive to Ramechhap followed by a
flight to Lukla and trekking to Phakding. Beginning with a scenic drive from
Kathmandu to Ramechhap, travelers embark on a four-hour journey through
picturesque countryside, terraced fields, and rural villages. This road journey offers
glimpses of local life and stunning landscapes as travelers make their way towards
the starting point of the Lukla flight.
Upon arrival in Ramechhap, travelers board a short domestic flight to Lukla, an
experience renowned for its thrill and scenic beauty. Lukla Airport, situated at an
elevation of 2,860 meters amidst the towering peaks of the Himalayas, provides
breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and deep valleys below. Upon
landing in Lukla, trekkers are welcomed by the crisp mountain air and stunning

From Lukla, the trekking portion of the journey begins with a scenic hike to

The distance between Lukla and Phakding is about 8.25 km and it takes about 3-4
hours to reach there. During our trek today we will climb 210 meters and descend
410 meters. We will reserve a room for overnight stay, either at the Hotel Sherpa
Phakding or at a lodge of similar standard in Phakding.
Note: Lunch will be served at the destination or during the trek according to your
appetite, chosen from the teahouse menu. Each day upon reaching the day’s
destination, you’ll have free time for personal activities or to simply enjoy the
tranquility of the mountains. This time allows you to feel refreshed and prepared for
the adventures ahead.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Please note that due to the absence of direct flights from Kathmandu to Lukla,
travelers must transit through Manthali airport in Ramechhap. The journey from
Kathmandu to Ramechhap typically takes about 4-5 hours. Similarly, the return
journey from Manthali airport to Kathmandu at the end of the trek lasts
approximately 5-6 hours, depending on road conditions. To ensure the best views
during the flight, aim for a window seat on the left side when flying from
Kathmandu to Lukla and on the right side for the return journey.
It’s advisable to avoid seating near the wings to prevent obstruction of the view.
Keep in mind that seat reservations are unavailable and are allocated on a first-
come, first-served basis. Additionally, there’s a weight restriction of 15 kg (10 kg for check-in luggage and 5 kg for carry-on), and exceeding this limit incurs a substantial
fee per kilogram.
The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar is a captivating journey that delves

about 6-7 hours to reach there. During our trek today we will climb 920 meters and
descend 120 meters. We will reserve a room for overnight stay, either at the
Nirvana Home or at a lodge of similar standard in Namche Bazar.

The journey from Tengboche to Dingboche via Pangboche presents trekkers with a

EBC Guest House or at a lodge of similar standard in Lobuche.

The distance between Lobuche and Gorakshep via Everst Base Camp is about 13.50
km and it takes about 7-8 hours to reach there. During our trek today we will climb
430 meters and descend 190 meters. We will reserve a room for overnight stay,
either at the Buddha Lodge or at a lodge of similar standard in Gorakshep.
Start your day with an early morning hike to Kala Patthar, which stands at an
elevation of 5,550 meters. This trek is particularly rewarding, as it offers stunning
panoramic views of the sunrise over some of the highest peaks in the world,
including Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. The early morning light bathes the
mountains in a golden hue, creating an unforgettable and awe-inspiring scene.
After soaking in the magnificent sunrise and capturing plenty of photographs, make
your way back down to your lodge at Gorakshep. Once you’ve had some time to
rest and gather your belongings, prepare for a thrilling helicopter ride back to
Kathmandu. This helicopter flight will not only save you time but also provide a
unique aerial perspective of the Himalayan landscape, allowing you to see the
rugged terrain, deep valleys, and towering peaks from a completely different angle.
Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your accommodation,

descent towards Dingboche (4,410 m), retracing their steps along the trail back to
Gorakshep. The journey back offers trekkers a chance to reflect on the awe-

Patthar. As they make their way down, trekkers are surrounded by stunning views

The trail descends gradually, winding through picturesque landscapes and tranquil

The round trip distance between Gorakshep and Kala Patthar is approximately 3.60
kilometers, with an estimated trekking time of 3 to 4 hours. During today’s trek, we
will ascend 420 meters and subsequently descend 420 meters. Following the trek,
you will stay overnight at the Kathmandu Guest House or an equivalent hotel of
similar standard in Kathmandu.
Relax at the hotel or explore Thamel for shopping or massage etc. Apart from this you
can request our representative to arrange a guided tour of Kathmandu.
Embark on a guided sightseeing tour starting at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing the Malla Kings’ era with its courtyards,
temples, and palaces, including the Hanuman Dhoka Palace and the revered Kumari
