PATAGONIA
Patagonia is the name for the region that consists of the southern halves of the two countries Argentina and Chile. Here, the inhospitable landscape is dominated by penguins, guanacos or pumas on the ground and condors in the sky!
Patagonia was at the top of our agenda during our year in South America and remains one of our personal highlights. For two months we travelled through the region by any means necessary: Bus, car, jeep, ferry… you name it. It took us on 24-hour bus rides through empty pampas and treated us to a glorious week-long trek through snowy mountains. We saw huge glaciers, felt the Patagonian wind and sailed through the beautiful Chilean fjords…
A visit to Patagonia is a must. It will challenge you and certainly change the way you see the world.
