Overview

Mount Rysy (2,503m) is a fantastic and unique peak in the High Tatras. Rysy is the highest mountain in the entire Tatras. It owes its uniqueness to its three peaks, because two of them, the middle one (2,503m) and the south-eastern one (2,473m), are in Slovakia, while the other, the north-western peak (2,499m), is in Poland, and it is also the highest peak in the country!

On this full-day hike, you have the opportunity to hike to the summit of Rysy. This gives you the opportunity to take a look at two completely different countries. During this adventure, you will also be able to enjoy unforgettable views of the other peaks of the High Tatras as well as the valleys and landscape below.

The ascent to the summit of Rysy will not be easy. Therefore, participants should be in good physical condition. It is also important that you have previous mountain hiking experience.

Despite the difficulties that will be encountered during this full-day trip, the climb is truly exhilarating. There is also the beautiful mountain hut Chata pod Rysmi (2,250 m) where you can take a break. This place is the perfect spot for a little rest before you reach the summit of Rysy, and also provides a wonderful position for memorable photos.
